We finally have the time to post this personal projects that we have wanted to share with you for a long time now. The following pictures were taken at the Simply Bloom Workshop in Huntsville, Alabama. The styling of this shoot was done by the amazing Stephanie Drake of Proper Measures and our model, the beautiful Samantha Francis, a former America’s Next Top Model contestant were just the perfect combination. We loved the organic and nature inspired styling and the soft green accent color. Another amazing aspect of this workshop was to meet so many talented photographers. It is great to meet other creative minds you can exchange experiences and thoughts with.We hope you enjoy these images. You are in for a treat

I was so thrilled this past weekend when my gorgeous friend, Elma from Germany, came to visit me in Georgia. Besides the great joy of just seeing her in person and catching up after 10 years, I was really excited for a personal project and taking a few photos of her. -Annika
This session is also a very good example for what a girl should wear on her engagement session. We always get asked that question, and here is one of our suggestions: pastel and creamy neautral colors, a somewhat dressy style give a romantic but playful look in our opinion! Beautiful accessories, such as a hair piece, light scarf, carefully selected jewelry, or even a hat are great additions to complete your outfit. We also recommend you get your hair and make up professionally done, but of course, you’re not obligated to. For the guys, we usually suggest a more casual but “cool” look like jeans or khaki pants with a dressier top or a button shirt. We love details for the men as well, like suspender, bows ties, vests, even nerdy glasses! …. anything unique is welcome.

What a beautiful wedding we got to be a part of. Laura and Brett’s special day took place at Our Lady Assumption Catholic Church and the awesome venue Callanwolde Fine Arts Center. A Gothic-Tudor style mansion with many intricate details that were complemented by the beautiful pink and ivory flowers by Events by Dezine. Laura wore a beautiful lace dress and her grandmother’s vintage ring. She was glowing and her happiness was so contagious! The father of the bride mentioned Libelle Photography on his thankful toast and we were so honored. We hope you enjoy these images as much as we enjoyed being there for Laura and Brett! -Libelle duo
